Bonded Grey Cockatiels “GEORGE & GRACE”
We are George and Grace, a 20 year old bonded pair of Grey Cockatiels. We are a great pair! George is somewhat hand tamed and Grace is almost there as well. We like to sit on shoulders and chirp and complain at you but we really don't bite too awful hard. With some love and attention, this bonded pair would make wonderful family companions where each bird got equal human attention. |

“QUASIMOTO” Amazon |

Quasimoto will need a lot of one on one attention, he recently lost his mate, and he's a bit confused. He has a ruptured air sac which will require avian vet visits to drain the air. The rupture seems to be healing. He whistles a lot and makes bird noises. He will need some rehabilitation now that he is a single bird. The person who adopts him will need a lot of patience's and be able to spend lots of time with him, that's what he needs right now. and will be a great addition to the family. |

Adoption Fee $350 Or $550 With Cage |

Ruby is a beautiful, young female Eclectus. She is a quiet bird and prefers a calm environment, as do most Eclectus. Eclectus are usually quiet, gentle birds that do not like homes with too much action or noise and they do have specialized diets that are a little different from most of the large parrots. Ruby doesn't talk, but does whistle (come here whistle). Ruby also prefers females, she is shy and fearful with males. Ruby is not hand shy or cage aggressive, however, she does NOT like other birds. She will attack other birds even when in their own cage, she has been known to escape her cage and open the cage of another bird to do this, so it is best she is the only bird in the home she gets adopted into. Ruby is on medication until further notice, however, we can accept applications on her and she can be adopted out once she has the final clear from the veterinarian. |
|
Pee Wee is approximately 5 yrs old. Not DNA tested. He is in great feather condition. He was raised with scooter, so they are bonded. He will step up, but fly to your shoulder as soon as he gets out of the cage. He also loves to ride around on the top of your hand. Watch out for your coffee cup as he loves to try and sneak a little drink from it. Dogs and cats do not seem to bother him. He is a happy little bird and loves to chirp in your ear when he isn't chewing on it. |

Slater is a Lutino Cockatiel who is about 5 years old. He is hand shy and a little scared at first, but he just needs someone to trust. Slater has learned how to step up on a small hand held perch, so stepping up on a finger will be the next step. He really enjoys having a "spray bottle bath"! |

I eat mostly Harrison’s organic pellets- the LARGE ones, because I’m a big girl. I eat some pretty bird pellets, but like to dunk those in my water. I like my fruits and veggies and table food of almost any variety. I am not given many seeds currently. We are saving those for training treats!! I am currently clicker training and picking up on that pretty fast because I like my peanuts! I like a misting shower almost anytime! Please understand I will need time, but be a great addition to your family in the long run because I have many years left to show my love my new owner! |

Chico and Calypso love each other very much, you can tell by the way Chico will play with Calypso's mohawk and Calypso will groom Chico from head to toe. They both prefer to be in their cage, as Calypso is not very good at flying. They do come out from time to time, and take midday strolls on the floor, cooing at each other like "lovebirds" should. When they are ready for bed, they snuggle up on a 2 inch long perch so they can be as close as they can. |

“TWEETIE & TANGO” Cockatiel Pair |
|
Adoption Fee $50 Or $100 With Cage |
|
Tweetie is a female cockatiel and is approximately 17 years old. Tango is a male and is about 12 years old. Both are VERY SWEET. Their last owner was a lady who they'd been with for the last 15 years. That is most likely why Tweetie seeks the company of females but Tango goes to most anyone. He is a great whistler and can even whistle "Revelie", he also says a few thing like: "mama loves Tango", "it's a pretty bird" and does the wolf whistle. He loves having his head scratched and is friendly with most people upon first meeting them. Tweetie is such a sweetheart. Once she warms up and knows you she will sit in your cupped hands and let you scratch under her wings and on her head. Both birds love to get misted with a water bottle and will hang upside down and spread their wings in enjoyment. They like to eat their pellets and seed, millet, corn on the cob, broccoli and rice, cheerios, apples and an occasional animal cracker. They are ready and waiting for someone who can devote a lot of love and time to them! |

“SUNSHINE” & “ZORA” Sun Conure & Quaker Parrot |
|
Zora is a twelve year old Quaker. She is very standoffish and extremely possessive of her cage. She also absolutely loves men and will barely tolerate me. She is a load of laughs; she cackles evilly as she flies around our heads, barks like a dog, says hello in a child’s voice, wolf whistles and will screech a three note song for you (not sure what it is yet, but she’s trying to refine it. ^-^ She will draw blood if you try to pick her up from her cage, but if you allow her to fly to you, she can be handled completely and she loves the attention. True to Quaker fashion, she picks up new words easily and you can hear her mumble them all day. She is feisty and will need a patient owner. She and Zora are bonded. Sunshine allows Zora into and on her cage; they relish the interaction! Will you be their forever home? |

Cockatiel “SWEET PEA” |

Hi my name is Sweet Pea and I am a quiet bird. I can say "Sweet Pea pretty bird" and with help from my new forever home, I am sure I can learn more words. I like to play "peek-a-boo" on the bed with my fosters mom feet and I love to take showers with you! I am not a singing cockatiel. I will step up and know the word "no" pretty well. I would love to have lots of attention all of the time! I tolerate other birds, but would rather be by myself. I will get in and out of my cage on my own with help from a ladder. I like to follow my foster mom around the house and I get real excited at feeding time. I am about 2 years old. Hurry up and adopt me so I can go to my forever home!! |

Hello there! My name is Bandit. I am a Green Cheek Conure. The vet said that she did not know how old I was but I act young! I LOVE people! I might have gotten off to a little bit of a rough start in life but I am always in the best of spirits. When I lived in another place, a bird attacked me and I lost my left eye and a few feathers that will never grow back. Don’t worry though, it doesn’t bother me much. I am a very well adjusted bird considering the scrapes I have been through. From the very first day, I loved riding around on my foster mom’s shoulder and cuddling into her neck. I tend to cuddle more on my left side and I love to get under your chin and wrapped up in your hair. I am vocal but not especially noisy. I am always making some sort of little sounds.
I am very curious about my surroundings while riding on my foster mom’s shoulder. I like to go from room to room visiting and calling to the other birds that live in my foster home.
I am a special needs bird and will need to be adopted by someone that can accept and understand my needs. I am like other birds for the most part, I just need someone that moves really slow around me as I have a small balance issue caused from having only 1 eye. I will step up for just about anyone as long as you let me on your shoulder right away. That is where I feel the safest. Once I am on your shoulder, I will chirp and bob my head and preen you. If you walk about I will climb from shoulder to shoulder to explore my environment.
Won’t you please take me home today. I would love to be a part of a forever home!
Thank You! Bandit |

I love to come out of my cage and play when I'm ready. I'm easily coaxed out with a peanut or sunflower seed and have been doing clicker training to step off my cage, but I'm not perfect with that quite yet. Once off my cage I'm easily handled now and step up very nicely. I don't mind a gentle head scratching and occasionally I'll let you scratch my head forever!!! I'll play on a playstand all day if you let me, but I like plenty of toys I can chew on. I love to eat pretty bird pellets and like to dunk them in my water, so please change my water a few times a day. I also like peaches, apples, pears and grapes- and my foster dad says I have to eat my greens, so I prefer fresh spinach leaves and snow peas. I will shower with you and like to be misted with a bottle as well while I'm playing. I'll flap my wings like crazy because I love it!! I behave very well with other birds and love to preen my feathered friends. Please take me home and keep me forever |

Sunshine is a sixteen year young Sun Conure. She is very shy at first, choosing to get to know her foster home through the bars of her cage. After a while though, she starts to beg to be held. She greatly prefers men over women, and will step up for them for a little love! Once she really gets settled, she will step up for a female only to go to the male of the house. With a little patience, she is a very sweet little bird that is starting to say “Good Boy”, “Hello”, and will gladly give kiss noises. She can and will bite if pressured to do too much too fast, but will give you plenty of warning before hand. She will scream when she sees a skateboard, a big ball, children/dogs/squirrels outside, and the vacuum cleaner. Though she screams, it is a short burst compared to my other Suns continuous screeching and is tolerable. Please consider Sunshine, she really deserves a forever home! |

Moluccan Cockatoo “MANGO” |
|
Adoption Fee $400 or $650 With Cage |
|
Mango is a 3 year old male Moluccan cockatoo. He displays a vibrant flamingo colored crest. Moluccans are the largest of the white cockatoo species. Our young man is a shy little boy. He definitely favors women. There is no evidence that Mango has been socialized and he is very frightened of hands. Mango can and will bite at this point. Since he is very young there is an excellent opportunity to work with him and instill a sense of well-being and trust. Mango is not a starter bird. He requires an owner with experience and patience. Mollucans are known to have one of the loudest parrot calls. In general they are very intelligent and should be nurtured by providing plenty of mental stimuli and training with lots and lots of toys. Chunks of untreated wood are especially fun for these guys. Owning this type of bird requires a special person with a lot of time and attention to give. Mollucans are the most sensitive of the cockatoos. They also require the largest cages of all the parrots. He needs a play stand when out of his cage. Mango is not a plucker thus far. In the right environment and a feeling of security and love he can flourish into a regal and majestic bird. Mollucans can live to be about 70-80 years old and therefore have a lifetime of love to give you. |

Maui is a hand fed Blue & Gold Macaw. He's 20yrs old and in Full Feather. Maui hasn’t been sexed but he's a feisty bird when he wants to be. So I've always thought of him as a he. He will eat most anything. He is on Zupreme Pellets, fresh fruit and veggies. He will happily share your food with you. And if it's junk food even better! Maui has been with me in my nest for a few weeks now. During this time we have been working on his manners and being polite. I've been trying to convince him that I am the Flock Leader. At times he believes me and other times he passes his day by trying to bully me. LOL!!! You will need a little experience, a lot of patience, And Tons of Love if you choose to adopt Maui. He's a great guy who needs a flock that will be understanding yet stern when it comes to his psychological and emotional needs. Got Room In Your Nest For Maui?. . . |

Hello!! I'm Lu-Lu, a beautifully feathered 2 year old Blue Front Amazon. Even though I'm very young I've been in 3 different homes and I'm hoping to find a forever home!! My old parents didn't have the patience to work with me, so I'm a bit shy and can be snippy if you don't have patience. My foster dad has been very patient and I'm hoping to find a family who will give me the attention I need. |

Hello!! I’m Samantha, a 32 year old DNA sexed female, Double Yellow Head Amazon. I was in my old home all my life and my parents were scared of me as I grew older, but I’m really just a little scared of hands. I like my cage and will come out on the door sometimes. I have come a long way in a few short weeks. I will take treats from your hand, but I do just not quite trust enough to step up yet. I’m getting there though!! My foster dad is working hard to get me to trust people again, but I will require continual patience and training. My vocabulary is a bit limited, but I’m picking up things from my other feathered friends and talking more every day. I get quite excited to see anyone when they come to my cage and will let you pet my head through my cage. |

Pretty Bird is an approximately 6 to 7 year old male gray cockatiel. He is a sweet and gentle little guy that loves to play with his toys all day and is not by any means a squawker. Each morning when we remove his night cover he starts right in with his “repertoire” of WHATCHA DOIN’ PRETTY BIRD, wolf whistles and clicks. He is very docile and will step up to any hand male or female. He loves to keep us company by riding on a shoulder and playing with our hair. |

Hello, We are Delilah and Mikah. We both lost our mates and became very close in our time of need. We are becoming very friendly and love to be handled. We also love to sit outside on the porch and listen to the wild birds sing. Mikah loves to sit and ride on your shoulder while you do chores around the house. She also gives kisses. Delilah is still a little unsure about people and is slowly coming around. She will give a warning bite if she gets scared. |
